Terms of Service
Twelve short sections that set out the agreement between you and Cam2Cam.io. Please read them before your first cam2cam chat; using the site means you accept them.

1. Scope
These terms govern every part of Cam2Cam.io: the site on desktop and mobile, public pages and feeds, messaging, matching, video calls, checkout and anything connected to them. A few features come with additional rules that appear where you use them, and those rules are part of the deal as well. The privacy policy and the community guidelines complete the agreement. Not willing to accept all three? Then please do not use the site.
2. Minimum age
Users must be at least 18, or the higher age your local law requires, and must be legally permitted to use a video chat service.
3. Accounts
What you enter when you register, log in, verify, pay or edit your profile has to be true and kept up to date. Accounts may not be opened with stolen, made-up or misleading details. One account, one person: selling, lending, renting or passing it on needs our permission. Do not try to get around security checks, rate limits or access controls. Protecting your password is your job, and you answer for whatever happens on your account, so alert us quickly if you suspect someone else is using it.
4. Acceptable use
Behave lawfully and with respect for others. These are specifically off limits:
- content that is illegal, infringes rights, defrauds or misleads;
- sexualised material involving minors, exploitation, threats of violence or hate speech;
- posing as another person, or falsely claiming a link to a person or a brand;
- automated accounts, scripts, scraping, reverse engineering or similar technical misuse;
- scams, spam, asking to be paid off the platform, or other abusive commercial behaviour.
5. Calls and messages
The service connects you with a single other person at a time for a two-way video call, and lets the two of you swap text messages. Camera and microphone permission is requested by your browser on the matching screen. A short wait applies before Next can be used on each call; the hang-up button is available throughout.
Calls and messages may never serve stalking, intimidation, blackmail, harassment or fraud, the sharing of harmful links, requests for anything unlawful, or pressuring someone into danger. Capturing the other person on screen without consent is forbidden. Nobody can guarantee who you will meet, how they will react, or how good a connection will be; what you reveal and how long you stay are up to you. Reporting and blocking are done from the other person’s profile.
6. Content you publish
Anything public, your display name, avatar and profile included, is visible to others and can end up cached or indexed by search engines, so removing it here will not necessarily remove every copy at once. Publish only what you are entitled to. Ownership of your content stays with you; you grant Cam2Cam.io the rights reasonably required to host, store, show, process, moderate and distribute it while operating the service. Claims that arise because your content breaches someone else’s rights may fall on you. See the copyright page for takedowns.
7. Coins and purchases
No payment is needed to start chatting. Extended video calls may use coins, and the per-minute rate appears on screen before any coins are used. Coins, VIP, virtual gifts and other paid items are sold under the prices and conditions displayed on each purchase page, while independent payment companies process the money under their own terms and privacy notices.
- Paid items have no cash value and cannot be cashed out, unless a law says otherwise.
- Completed digital purchases and coins already spent are normally non-refundable, except where the law or that product’s specific rules provide for a refund.
- Chargebacks, fraud or paying with a card that is not yours can result in cancelled orders, restricted features, or an account review or suspension.
- Purchases remain usable only while your account is in good order, the item is still on offer and your device can run it.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We run Cam2Cam.io on an “as available” basis. Legal, operational, security or product reasons can lead us to add, alter, restrict or retire features, and no feature is guaranteed to stay or to run without interruption.
9. Third parties and intellectual property
Some parts of the service, such as sign-in, payment, analytics and hosting, rely on other companies whose own terms apply, and we cannot answer for websites we do not operate. The Cam2Cam.io name, logo, software, design and the rest of the platform are owned by Cam2Cam.io or its licensors; copying, scraping, redistributing or reverse engineering them requires our permission.
10. Enforcement
We may look into suspected violations of these terms, of our safety or payment rules, or of the law. Outcomes can include:
- content being taken down or hidden;
- warnings, or caps on posting, messaging, matching or buying;
- an account being reviewed, frozen, suspended for a period or closed;
- orders cancelled or benefits reversed, where allowed;
- records being preserved and supplied in answer to a valid legal or regulatory request.
When an account closes, most personal data attached to it is deleted or anonymised over time. Some records are retained where security, fraud prevention, disputes, enforcement or legal compliance need them.
11. Liability
To the extent the law permits, Cam2Cam.io gives no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service, nor of how any conversation will go. We are not liable for loss arising from other companies’ services, from the content or conduct of other members, from login details you failed to protect, or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These terms do not reduce any liability that the law forbids us to exclude, or any right consumer or privacy law grants you.
12. Revisions
Changes to the product, to the law or to how we manage risk will lead to revised terms. Important revisions carry a new date here and are announced on the site or through another channel. Continuing to use the service after a revision takes effect counts as accepting it. Questions go to [email protected].
