We picked a name that describes the product rather than a clever one, because the product is simple: you see the other person, they see you, and either of you can move on whenever you like. Cam2Cam.io is an independent site and is not connected to any other service with a similar name.

• Let anyone under 18 use it.

Beyond the call

• Messages: pick up a conversation in text with someone you met on camera.
• Profiles: add an avatar, nickname, photos and a few lines about yourself, or leave them blank.
• Moments: public posts you can share and browse.
• Clubs: groups built around a topic, for when chance alone is not enough.
